Cheese & Bread - Review - Bay Ridge - New York - The Infatuation
"Naming your cafe Cheese & Bread is a foolproof way to get us in the door. But this Bay Ridge spot is also selling itself short. The cheese and bread in question is Georgian khachapuri, which they have in at least five different varieties, baked fresh every morning. They do have the famous cheese boat if you want something eggy, but our favorite version is the khachapuri penovani, a big flaky square of puff pastry with gooey sulguni cheese inside. Though it looks like a grab-and-go spot with just a few tables, Cheese & Bread also has a full menu of Georgian food, and they’re open until 11pm.
