Beijing Tasty House

"Beijing Tasty House feels less like a restaurant, and more like a hospital cafeteria. Don’t let that put you off - the Northern Chinese food here is excellent. One word of warning, though, if you’re coming here for the Beijing Duck: you need to pre-order it a couple of hours ahead. Which can be slightly tricky, given that they seem to rarely pick up the phone. But even if you end up duck-less, you won’t leave disappointed. The braised eggplant comes in a very garlicky sauce, and the cumin-loaded sizzling lamb is addictive." - Jess Basser Sanders
