"From the team behind Jack’s New Yorker Deli, Smyrna's Burger Crush makes an easy stop when you want a standup burger, an Oreo shake, and don’t feel like making small talk. The counter-service spot serves “crushed burgers” (a.k.a. smashburgers) that taste like they came straight off a backyard grill, with just enough char to give them that griddled edge. Most people take advantage of the drive-thru, but there are a few outdoor tables with picnic bench seating if you want to sit in the sun and watch couples argue over mulch next door at Ace Hardware. Food Rundown Single Crush Burger This is a great burger—a quarter-pound patty with a garlicky, mayo-ish sauce, tomato, pickles, lettuce, and cheese. Shrimp Burger Spicy sautéed shrimp are soaked in a Creole aioli and stacked between soft, buttery buns. It’s a surprisingly good find from a burger drive-thru. Oreo Cookie Shake Vanilla ice cream is blended with thick chunks of Oreos. It’s not noteworthy but still makes a classic match for your burger and fries.
