"Feijoada, Brazil’s national dish, is a mix of black beans and pork—ribs, smoked sausage, and all the bits leftover from the butcher, including ears and snouts—slowly simmered until it’s thick, tender, and delicious. You can find a pretty decent option at most small restaurants and bars on Wednesdays or Saturdays. At Bolinha, though, it’s feijoada day every day. The restaurant has been packed with businessmen since it opened in 1946, so expect a busy lunch crowd.
