"Ear bleedingly loud or eerily quiet, PBR or Jager shots, headbanging punk or suited up jazz. Over its nearly 100-year history, Lion’s Lair has been many things to many people. These days, it tends to be musicians and musician-adjacent types hanging out by day and dingy rock-n-roll pit by night, and let’s be real, the gritty bar looks its age. But the drinks are cheap, the staff will remember what you ordered, and because of its lengthy reputation as a good time, it welcomes what could be Denver’s most eclectic crowd.
