"Sabor A Honduras is a trailer parked in the same lot as a convenience store and Frazier’s Long & Low near Pleasant Valley and East Riverside. As you can probably guess by the name, the menu features a handful of Honduran classics, including carne asada, chuletas, and pupusas. Portions are plentiful and everything tastes like it was made fresh to order, though many of the meats arrive a little overcooked and in need of additional sweet crema on top to offset their dryness. Stop by for dinner the next time you find yourself at Frazier’s and realize you’ve already eaten too many cheeseburgers this week, or when you just want some solid Honduran food in a relaxed outdoor atmosphere. photo credit: Nicolai McCrary Food Rundown Pupusas The chicharron and cheese filling is a bit light on the meat, and the curtido is heavier on the vinegar than we’d like, but these are satisfying pupusas. Order a couple to round out whatever plate you decide to go with. photo credit: Nicolai McCrary Carne Asada This is served with shredded cabbage on a bed of sliced, fried plantains that provide a great base. We like the slaw and the beans, but the meat is pretty dry, even though it’s well seasoned. photo credit: Nicolai McCrary" - Nicolai McCrary
