The new iteration of the fine dining Italian restaurant, which is located in the exact same space, is a great spot to drink some wine and eat some excellent regional dishes, like gnocchi alla norma, soffritto and beef-stuffed ravioli, and brown butter basted chicken breast. And sure, the cozy trattoria may still be a bit too cramped with tables, but the service continues to be warm and attentive and overall this place continues to feel both laid back and just slightly upscale.
