"Although Berlin’s best and most beloved Thai food can undeniably be found at Thai Park—recently forced to relocate out of Wilmersdorf’s Preußenpark onto the nearby Württembergische Straße—Larb Koi is a close runner-up, battling it out against Khao Taan for the second place spot. If you search for where to find spicy food in Berlin, Larb Koi will feature heavily in the results. This is one of the only places in the city where you can eat wildly spicy dishes—the chicken larb and papaya salad will both leave you mopping your brow and feeling a bit dizzy. The heat (resist the hubristic urge to order anything above “medium Thai spicy”) served up by Monay Sakarin is our favourite way to release endorphins in this hedonistic town, and that’s saying something." - Olivia Ladanyi
