M&M'S New York

Candy store · Midtown West

"The Time Square M&M's Store. An overbearing corporate marketing play where cheap mugs cost $15 and t-shirts emblazoned with the brown M&M say things like “I’m sweet but I don’t sugarcoat things.” But also, somehow, an endearing candy shop full of children grinning ear to ear. If you ignore the first floor, which is full of merch that we can only recommend for sleeping in, there’s actually something pretty likable about the second and third floors. That something is the sheer quantity of M&Ms—probably somewhere in the tens of millions—held in satisfying color-coded floor-to-ceiling tubes, like a cathedral of candy. Here, you can customize M&Ms, get your M&M personality read (we got peanut butter brown), and obviously buy more merch. Bulk M&M's cost $9.50 per half pound, and if you need to kill time with a couple kids in Times Square, this is a great option. photo credit: Alex Staniloff photo credit: Alex Staniloff photo credit: Alex Staniloff photo credit: Alex Staniloff" - Will Hartman
