"Beignets are on every table at Cafe Jolie, a French restaurant on the West End that’s at its best during brunch. The puffy, light dough pockets deflate once you take a bite, and are even better dunked in the side of chocolate sauce that rides shotgun. The patio and dining room are always packed with parents wiping powdered sugar off their toddlers’ noses and friends splitting crab cake benedicts. Hunker down for a wait on weekends, or hit up their smaller location (“Cafe Jolie Petit”) on Bay Farm, which has a slightly abridged menu." - Julia Chen
