"Coconut Club fits nicely among Austin’s small conglomerate of Downtown queer bars. A few steps away from the rainbow crosswalks at the corner of 4th Street and Colorado, this multi-level party spot is a tropical dance temple, with regular DJ sets and weekend rooftop drag shows overlooking the nearby high-rises. It can get crowded, so maybe grab an extra shot to prolong your drink order. In a city that prefers breweries and trendy cocktail bars to thumping nightclubs, Coconut Club is a great place to end an evening on the town or kick off a rowdy Saturday afternoon.
