Foghorn Taproom

Chicken wings restaurant · Alamo Square

"Anyone near the Divisadero corridor now has an easy solution for their urgent chicken wing needs in the third location of Foghorn Taproom. The NoPa spot has a straightforward set-up, complete with tables and bar seats conveniently near the beer taps and stacks of napkins on hand (you’ll need them). Go all in on anything chicken-related, like the loaded fries crowned with a Nashville tender, or the chicken and waffles doused in syrup. And, of course, you’re here for the wings. There are 11 options—the BBQ ones are drowning in too much sauce, so zero in on the more balanced tangy lemon pepper or hot honey crunch topped with cornflakes. If you’re ready to partake in your own personal version of Hot Ones, order the mouth-numbing mango habanero and prepare to spend a few minutes in teary silence while listening to the ambient noise of first downs coming from the wall-mounted TVs." - Julia Chen
