"Opening a cheesesteak spot in a cheesesteak town is about as unnecessary as using a DVD rewinder. Especially if said cheesesteaks are totally fine, like they are at Taste in Center City. These sandwiches have the satisfying cheesy-mushy center of any decent cheesesteak you'll find at your neighborhood shop. The difference here is that you're going to have to wait far too long—we clocked 30 minutes for one cheesesteak—for what's ultimately a run-of-the-mill meal in Philly. So come if you’re a tourist who doesn’t know that Cleavers nearby has a larger menu with a shorter wait, or maybe to watch a game on one of Taste's big screens if everywhere else in the neighborhood is packed." - Candis R.
