And although it would make for a great first date with a bivalve enthusiast, you don’t want your new favorite bar ruined by someone who might suck. So invite a person you already love for martinis and fries, or the people who’d happily share a $45 negroni pitcher with you, crowded around a tiny table in the front window. Or come by yourself for a cocktail, some light chat with the bartender, and a thick slice of pepperoni pan pizza.
