"We don’t hand out awards for ice cream names, but if we did, Sugar Hill Creamery would probably receive some sort of recognition for flavors like “Pon De Replay,” a vegan ice cream with coconut, passionfruit, and tamarind that is exactly what you want all over your face on a warm day in Harlem. Or you might prefer this neighborhood kid magnet’s peach cobbler or blueberry cheesecake. They’ve got a couple of locations uptown, plus one in Dumbo, and stay open until 11pm on the weekends. Flavors change depending on the season, so check their website to see what’s available." - bryan kim, willa moore, sonal shah, molly fitzpatrick, kenny yang
