"Floataway Cafe is date night-chic all the way. But we’re not gonna lie, we get X-Files vibes whenever we pull up to this Druid Hills restaurant, housed in an old warehouse and looking like a suspiciously ideal spot to do research on alien lifeforms (just us?). Get past that, because once you do step inside, the mood is welcoming, relaxed, and romantic. Divided into four dining areas—with a courtyard patio—there's enough space that you’ll feel like you have the whole place to yourself even when there’s a full house. Floataway has an a la carte, micro-seasonal menu inspired by French, Mediterranean, and Italian cuisines—we especially like the super flaky oven-roasted loup de mer, which is simply prepared with fennel and herbs. The cocktail menu also plays in the garden with drinks like the gin-based Botanist, elevated with a hint of thyme, rosemary and St. Germain." - Nina Reeder

The Queso Truck

Restaurant · Toco Hills Town Center

The Queso Shop is a takeout window and ghost kitchen in the heart of Atlanta. The concept began with our food truck and after rave reviews around town… we decided to open a more convenient and permanent stand to sell our beloved tacos, quesadillas, and of course queso! We’ve added some new favorites to The Queso Shop like our family style Roast Chickens, Churros, and more. Come see us and check out why the best things in life are cheese!
