"Laid Fresh is a very casual Wynwood spot from the KYU team that specializes in breakfast dishes involving eggs. You order at the register, take a number, and wait for your beignets or fried egg BLT (called the “EBLT” on the menu) to arrive at your table. The egg sandwiches are what you want if you’re very hungry, but “the laid egg” - which is a soft-boiled egg on top of a crispy potato pancake - is our favorite thing to eat here." - Ryan Pfeffer
