"Every now and then, the temperature does go below 60 degrees in LA. When it does, prioritize eating at Kotohira. The tiny noodle shop in a Gardena strip mall has all sorts of udon, like curry, creamy, and green mochi. Our order is usually the mini katsudon set, where you get a big bowl of their tanuki udon (light broth) plus a side of their katsudon (fried pork and eggs over a bowl of rice).
