"From sunrise to sunset, Hidalgo’s is an outstanding Mexican restaurant. It opens early at 6am to feed workers heaping plates of chilaquiles, eggs, and refried beans. At lunch, gorditas and tacos fly from the kitchen on crowded trays. These are all great, but we love the bubbling molcajete filled with steak, shrimp, and chicken. Service is fast and friendly, and they don’t hold back on the spice. It’s family-run, perfect for all three generations of your household, and our favorite place to get Mexican food in the county.
