"Just a block away from the 16th Street Mission BART station is our go-to for giant falafel and shawarma wraps. The architectural soundness of lavash gets tested with every one of these tahini-slathered roll-ups stuffed with onions, tomato, thinly shaved slices of chicken, lamb, or fried orbs of chickpeas. Our favorite is the Deluxe, which comes with all the fixings plus potatoes and chunks of eggplant that have been bathing in meat drippings. For a lavash-less deconstructed version, try a plate (only slightly less messy to eat). Seating is limited, with a few indoor stools and a couple of outdoor tables. We suggest asking for extra napkins and eating elsewhere." - Patrick Wong
