"Almacén means “corner store,” and this spot really does feel like one, with a big counter up front and everything. But the historic 1920s-era exterior and cozy, candlelit barroom also make it elegant enough for a phenomenal date. The wine list features regional Argentine wines, mostly but not exclusively from Mendoza. If you haven’t tried one already, this is the place to order a picada (charcuterie board) with meats like bresaola and ‘nduja.
