"The best place to sit at this casual American restaurant at the Lee+White Complex in the West End is the long patio with a window-service bar. There’s a full dining room inside but, from the patio, you can take in the full scene: bikers heading for the Beltline trail, chatty groups walking their dogs or chasing after their kids, and friends heading to one of the nearby brewery patios. The American food here is always solid and unfussy, so rely on Boxcar for a fruity riesling or a plate of plump, sticky BBQ wings the next time you want to unwind. Food Rundown Wings The BBQ wings are fried especially well here and have a sticky sweet sauce. But you can't go wrong with lemon pepper, either. They’re plump and crispy with balanced levels of citrus and salt. This is one of the most consistent menu options. photo credit: Jacinta Howard Salmon Burger The salmon could use more seasoning, but sauce it up and it’ll be just fine. Kiddos Chicken Sliders Chicken sliders are on both the kids' menu and regular menus. However, the crispy-skinned sliders on the kids’ menu are nearly the size of a full sandwich. So we understand if you’re tempted to eat off your child's plate. photo credit: Jacinta Howard" - Jacinta Howard
