Tablé By Antonio Bachour Review - Design District - Miami - The Infatuation

"Editor's note: Tablé has revamped its menu. We'll update this review once we've had a chance to revisit. Tablé is a sibling of Bachour, the fancy Miami bakery. So it makes sense that bread service and dessert are the highlights of the meal here. But everything in the middle isn’t as memorable. Nothing will make you furious—but portions are small, overly fussy, and don’t deliver the big flavors we want from a special occasion French restaurant. There’s a lot going on inside the clashing dining room. Colors are bright, the ceiling is covered in fake plants, and it feels like this place can’t quite decide whether it wants to be a fine dining restaurant or a casual bistro—though the prices definitely indicate the former. We could see Tablé doing the trick for a last-minute business lunch or a glass of wine and a couple beautiful desserts at the bar. But if you’re looking for a pricey French-ish meal in the Design District, walk a little further to Le Jardinier." - Ryan Pfeffer
