"Nashville is starting to collect Italian restaurants like Meryl Streep collects Oscar nominations. One of them is Frankies, an East Nashville copy and paste from NYC, where you can dip some seriously good bread into some seriously good olive oil. For a hearty, solo lunch, pair the fennel sausage and broccoli rabe sandwich on thin and crispy pizza bianca with a glass of Nebbiolo from their impressive, glass-encased wine cellar. Or, come for dinner and get the most pillowy gnocchi we’ve ever had or any of the seasonal pastas—we've had linguine topped with truffles and a slightly spicy corn ravioli.
