Many dishes, in fact, feel unique to this neighborhood charmer, which could have very easily played it safe with standard Italian dishes. However, this is a kitchen that chooses to top pizzas with smoked pastrami and sauerkraut and chooses to toss tagliolini with charred octopus glossed in smoked dashi butter.
