"This idyllic lakeside house has been in existence since 1447. With their wood panelling and tiled stove, its rooms have a cosy atmosphere that draws on the region. The cuisine is Austrian-influenced, but also has an international lilt. There is a choice of à la carte dishes or you can opt for the "Genuss-Menü" (set menu), or indeed pick and choose individual courses from the latter. The veal fillet and braised veal cheek, for example, is really delicious. On Mondays, a surprise menu comprising three or five courses is served. The restaurant is located in Hotel Lexenhof, which offers charming, cosy guestrooms." - Michelin Inspector
