"A visit to this restaurant, occupying the premises of what was once the oldest hardware store (“ferretería” in Spanish) is an absolute must in the Spanish capital. The timeless charm of the former store has been retained in the Leña-Bar, the latter accompanied by dining rooms in the basement plus other dining spaces beneath 16C brick vaulting (former coal vaults) which come as a complete surprise.
