"I consider HI Boston the best hostel in town — it offers same-sex and mixed dorms where each bed has a shelf, outlets, and a locker, plus female-only dorms for extra privacy. The private rooms feel more like a hotel and even include TVs and a bathtub, while the hostel also has an excellent kitchen, a social common room with a TV, pool table, and piano, and it organizes free city tours and hosted dinners. It's very social and conveniently located close to the Freedom Trail, the Boston Common, and Chinatown, with Harvard and MIT just a few T stops away." - Matthew Kepnes
