"When it was new in 2009 it blew my mind: a huge, restaurant-sized kitchen, top-notch showers with great water pressure, a large lounge, and most rooms with balconies. I noticed thoughtful touches like thick pillows that the manager told me they replace every few months, and because the hostel doesn’t have a bar people drink and socialize on-site; there are nightly activities and a free Sunday dinner and quiz night, which kept the social atmosphere alive." - Matthew Kepnes
