"I found the Ranakpur Jain Temple, set in the forest near the village of Ranakpur, remarkably quiet and hauntingly beautiful—supported by over 1,400 intricately carved pillars (no two the same) that create an almost eerie, never-ending-maze feeling as you wander the courtyard; I highly recommend the included audio guide when you buy the 200 INR admission (regular guides aren't allowed), note the photography permit costs an extra 100 INR, and the temple is open daily from 12pm–5pm (open earlier only for prayer)." - Matthew Kepnes
