"In Leidseplein, right across from the massive Vondelpark, I like that this hotel sits in a calmer, less crowded area and offers simple but clean and comfortable rooms in a homey atmosphere (there’s even a hotel cat and a hotel bar with board games). The rooms have modern decor and lots of natural light; single rooms have shared bathrooms while the others are en suite, so take note when booking. The staff are really nice and always ready to help, and I think it’s the best mid-range value in this part of town." - Matthew Kepnes
