"A lively, upscale hostel about a 10-minute walk from the main train station, PLUS Florence has an indoor pool, an outdoor pool, and a chill rooftop terrace for relaxing and meeting people. The rooms have basic metal bunks (no curtains) but thick, comfortable mattresses, individual plugs and reading lights, and lockers for security. There’s a delicious all-you-can-eat breakfast each morning (for 9 EUR) and female-only dorms for extra privacy, so I’d pick this one if you want something a bit more upscale without breaking the bank." - Matthew Kepnes
