"I love the St. Christopher’s chain; this Canal location has Wi‑Fi, lockers, clean showers, a 7 EUR breakfast, and a lively bar, with an incredible view of the canal and a hopping terrace in summer that makes it very popular with backpackers. It covers all the basics—privacy curtains, lights, plenty of outlets—and organizes lots of events and free perks like drinks and walking tours. That said, the mattresses are a bit thin so the beds aren’t great, but overall it’s social, relaxed, and one of my favorite hostels in Paris." - Matthew Kepnes
