Vanity Projects Miami

Nail salon · Miami Fashion District

"Vanity Projects, Little River by Matthew Vander Werff & Ashley Melisse Abess. New York City's best nail art salon opened their Little River outpost in 2015, and the manicures of Miami girls have never been the same. The salon's concept is truly rooted in art - owner Rita Alcenar de Pinto's background as an independent curator informs the video art installations projected onto the walls, while the salon operates a "residency" for visiting nail artists from NYC to Tokyo. The nail artists (don't call them manicurists) can translate your favorite artist's work (Jen Stark was an Art Basel 2015 favorite), or help you develop a custom design. Not feeling creative? Don't worry, no one will turn a nose up at a good old fashioned single-color gloss."
