"Julep, Westport. The bartenders at Julep know their stuff. This is the place to come for a damn good cocktail. You don't have to be a whiskey lover to enjoy the drinks, although it certainly helps. In addition to the classics, Julep also creates their own cocktails. The Black Flower is one of my favorites– JTS Brown Bourbon, fig, vanilla, lemon & Angostura Aromatic Bitters. The interior has a unique vibe as well. The cut-mirror chandeliers & sliding library ladders create an illusion that you've walked into the Great Gatsby. Call ahead to book a whiskey tasting if that floats your boat."
