"Joanie's Baretto (Baretto meaning 'little bar') has a quaintness to it yet is still incredibly welcoming and so are the lovely staff. Joanie's Baretto was opened to help fill the void for pre and post drinks around the dinner service at Umberto (the family team behind Joanie's also). It carries the same charm and authentic Italian offerings and be sure to grab yourself some delicious polenta chips and a glass of wine from the excellent wine list. Maybe even a grappa? On the first Sunday of every month there is an Italian Sunday session called 'Aperitivo' which is a ritual among the Italian community dating back to the 18th Century.
