"Dave's, Glendale. Dave’s on Broadway has always been around - well at least since 1932, making it the oldest bar in Glendale, as well as one of the older haunts in LA. Supposedly, it is haunted. Opening the day after Prohibition ended, there are stories of underground tunnels that ran from the hotel to the bar, for the convenience of thirsty guests. Now, Dave’s is just a reliably great dive bar, with Karaoke, pool, and hospitable bar tenders that are always good for a story or two."
