On the Grid : Cabbagetown Park

"In the central part of the neighborhood, Cabbagetown Park was once the location of an Elementary School that was shut down in 1976. The land was secured by the neighborhood and the park was completed in 2005. It a gorgeous area with a lot of green space, and you're sure to see a lot of dogs. Each November, the neighborhood hosts its own Chomp and Stomp Bluegrass Festival, a competition of local chilis. If you're into an adrenaline rush, stop by for the Fourth of July fireworks." - 3 Owl Media
