"There are a multitude of ways to experience the coast of Maine, but it’d be hard to find a better introduction than this one, just a few minutes from Portland, in Cape Elizabeth: the Inn by the Sea. It’s contemporary-classic in style but as crisp and fresh as a new build, and its rooms and suites are luxurious, but unpretentiously so. You’ll find gas fireplaces and/or heated floors, both of which are quite useful in the winter.
