A new W is always a big event, and the W Taipei certainly fit that bill. Rising some 31 stories above the Xinyi commercial district, it comes with a well-framed view of the Taipei 101 tower, and plenty of what could rightly be called public art; the wall-mounted vertical garden, the light installation, and the otherworldly landscape and sculpture of the pool deck all combine to create an experience that’s a bit more of a spectacle than what’s on offer in the ordinary luxury hotel." - Tablet Hotels
