"Washington D.C.’s Phoenix Park Hotel isn’t overly impressed with its location at the heart of American history. It’s named for a park in Dublin, and is, in fact, owned by an Irish concern. There’s plenty of Americana to go around in the neighborhood — you’re a few blocks from the Capitol, and more or less right next to Union Station — but once you’re inside Phoenix Park it’s all warm Irish hospitality, thanks in no small part to the Dubliner, which is more or less everything you’d imagine if you were to close your eyes and wish for an Irish pub and restaurant." - Tablet Hotels
