This luxury hotel — housed in a lovingly restored 12th-century palazzo rich with original frescoes and abundant marble — is the first Italian property from Hyatt’s Unbound Collection, and they did an admirable job refurbishing the place and glowing it up with a smart, stylish sensibility and an eye for detail. Rooms feature colorful patterned wallpaper, parquet floors, and midcentury modern-inspired decor, while suites are downright palatial with glamorous canopy beds and hand-painted ceilings.
