Here is no hamfisted restoration; the facade and public spaces of Stradom House go out of their way to keep this 14th-century edifice in conversation with the medieval town squares and religious monuments around it. Thankfully, the rooms live in the here and now, keeping the ambience unstifled and airy, the better to offset the stone-clad streetscape just outside.
