"The InterContinental Century City Chengdu might be surrounded by the city’s impressive collection of glass skyscrapers, but it also sits just a few minutes’ walk from the huge Guixi Ecological Park, often dubbed Chendu’s Central Park, in case you’re craving greenery. Inside the contemporary light-filled rooms highlight the fantastic views of the park and skyline with huge windows, and there’s a choice of fun themed bedrooms if you’re travelling with kids. The six restaurants serve up a mix of Eastern and Western cuisines, from Italian pasta and pizza to classic Cantonese cuisine and dim sum.
