"I learned about this Black-owned beauty store from my good friend Julee Wilson Warhem—she goes here when in town to discover new and exciting brands that haven’t quite made it to the US, but founder Anne-Marie Mendy’s story is even more rousing. She founded the store in 2009 to provide a much-needed space for Paris’s women of color to shop for hair, skin, and makeup products.
