For Some of the Best Italian Around Charleston, Head to Hanahan | Eater Carolinas

"Opened by former Indaco chef and Indigo Road culinary director Mark Bolchoz and his wife, Ariana, this traditional osteria near their Hanahan home focuses on Lowcountry produce and products. The kitchen brings in local mollusks for a wood-fired oyster appetizer that’s similar to oyster casino, with arugula, Parmesan cream, breadcrumbs, lemon, and dill—an ideal balance of smoky and creamy. After a run of mediocre meatballs around the Lowcountry, I’d stopped ordering them, but the beef-and-pork version here, with rich umami that stands up to the spicy tomato sauce, made me believe again. For dessert, the lush banana gelato with dulce de leche and a sprinkle of vanilla cookie and dark chocolate is a very Italian-meets-Lowcountry bite (I’m going with calling it Italian banana pudding). With cozy leather banquettes and black-and-white family photos, it feels like an old-school Italian joint, drawing neighbors dressed up for a night out, industry folks at the chef’s counter, and travelers in the know. Insider tip: stop in early-week for Mad Dog Mondays, when a special menu rolls out dishes like cheesy garlic bread, a chopped salad, and a giant portion of chicken Parmesan." - Erin Perkins

Best New Restaurants in Charleston, South Carolina, for 2025 - AFAR

"Only 15 minutes north of the peninsula, I found this easygoing Italian osteria to be the neighborhood spot we all wish we had: founded by Mark Bolchoz, it immediately stakes its claim with the must-try “Daily Bread,” a gorgeous wood-fired sourdough disc with a Neapolitan-style crust that I loved topped with ricotta and local honey or—my favorite—slathered in Calabrian honey butter. The kitchen’s love of naturally fermented dough (a point Bolchoz credits to his chef de cuisine Alex) shows through every bite, and if you don’t ruin your meal on carbs the rest of the menu leans into seasonal Italian comfort — think al dente bucatini with Raven Farms mushrooms, whipped taleggio and pancetta, or a pork chop so juicy it could convert skeptics of the “other white meat.”" - Lauren Mowery

My wife and I recently had the pleasure of dining at Cane Pazzo, and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere set the perfect tone for the evening. The staff was attentive and friendly, making us feel right at home. Every dish we tried was absolutely delicious. The drinks were expertly crafted, with a great selection of wine that perfectly complemented the dinner, Each course was beautifully presented and perfectly cooked, showcasing the chef’s passion for quality and detail. Cane Pazzo is truly a gem for anyone who loves Italian cuisine. We can’t wait to return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience!

Google
Excellent dining experience at Cane Pazzo. It is outside of downtown Charleston, therefore parking is a breeze. All their pasta is homemade. The oysters were perfectly fried to be able to appreciate the taste of the oyster. The cavatelli vegetarian pasta dish was very good and was a good portion size. Would highly recommend.

Google
It’s veteran owned, the menu changes every other week, they have a patio, they have a chefs counter, reservations only other than 7 bar seats which are first come first serve, they make the pastas fresh daily, farm to table 95% of everything here is local. Our server nick was amazing. Everything was so good! 10/10 would suggest! I dug into the meatballs before the picture.

Google
Such a wonderful place! Chef Mark and his Team nailed it. We were a party of six and they accommodated us perfectly. The wine pairing was excellent, the appetizers were delicious, and the main course was a homerun! RUN, don't walk to experience a fabulous meal. Highly recommended. We will be going back, I suggest you do also. Kudos to the Team!!!!!

My daughter and I came for the first time on 12/17/25. We waited about 30m and got seated at the bar. I was really impressed by the atmosphere and customer service. I’m huge on customer service and from beginning to end they nailed it! The food was amazing. The sauce and the texture of the meatballs were top tier! The meatballs weren’t heavy but satisfyingly delicious! The sauce I could eat on anything! That Daily Bread had me in a chokehold! lol I loved it. I will be back. Everyone was so nice and pleasant. Nick must have a tape recorder in his collar because he remembered our order without writing it down and was fixing drinks at the same time. He answered our questions about the food and helped us in our decision making for our order. He was great. Mr. Bolcholz, thanks for bringing this gem to the Charleston area. Haven’t had authentic Italian food since leaving home. (NJ). 🌻

Google
My husband and I had dinner here and it was both fun and delicious. We started with wood fired bread and the oysters. The oysters were the best I have ever eaten outside of the backyard oyster roasts my brother hosts... the oysters were that fresh. I had the homemade pasta while my husband had a massive pork chop cooked in the wood fired oven. That was the most tender pork chop I have ever tasted. We had mushrooms as our side. We shared the affogato for dessert. The open kitchen is interesting to witness, the food was amazing and the service was excellent. Marina, the restaurant manager checked on us multiple times. You really feel special when you come to this restaurant. When we are back in Charleston again we will definitely eat here.

Google
Cane Pazzo is truly an amazing restaurant that goes above and beyond to make every dining experience special. The environment is warm and inviting. The food itself is outstanding and always perfectly prepared. But what really sets Cane Pazzo apart is the service. The staff doesn’t just take care of you; they anticipate your needs. At our visit, they overheard us talking about an appetizer we wanted to try and surprised us by gifting it to our table, a gesture that showed just how thoughtful and attentive they are. It’s that kind of next-level hospitality that makes Cane Pazzo unforgettable.

Google
I cannot say enough great things about Cane Pazzo and the whole team there. This is exactly what this area has been needing - incredibly well executed, super tasty Italian food with great service in a chill atmosphere. From the chef and cooks to the servers, bartenders and hosts, they make you feel at home and that everyone cares about what they’re doing. The food is outstanding! The Mad dog Monday menu brings me right back to my local Italian spot in NYC, and their daily menu has been changing with local ingredient availability. I’ve been here 6 times or more and somehow it gets better every time. Bravo Chef Bolchoz and team, this place is a gem and not to be missed. Do NOT forget the bread!

Meghan M.

Yelp
Wish I had taken more photos. The food was incredible! Best mozzarella sticks I've ever had. Caesar salad perfectly dressed and bread crumbs were perfection. We also had a pasta with a lamb ragu that was tender, moist & delicious! Service was great as well and my favorite part is they source the meat & produce locally. Ensuring fresh & seasonal food. Love supporting the local economy!

Yelp
5 Stars -- Cane Pazzo Cane Pazzo is the real deal. The food is incredible, the service is on point, and the whole vibe just feels like authentic Italian comfort done right. Every dish tastes like someone actually cares, and the ambience makes you want to stay way longer than you planned. Hanahan is seriously lucky to have a restaurant of this quality. An absolute must.

Yelp
5 star service and only 2 star meal. the wood fires oyster and Daily bread were to kill for. Excellent flavor However we came for a dinner and this place was highly recommended to us . I love Seafood Fra Diavolo and i order it a lot at different restaurants. So Basically i don't care about the price ; if i get what i want. But for $29 the Seafood Fra Diavolo was mostly a plate of pasty spaghetti (not much sauce) with shrimp less than the size of my fork and a piece or two of some kind of fish. The portion was VERY small and the quality of a takeout kitchen. please look at the attached photos ..especially the one showing the tiny flavorless shrimp. Will i be back ..don't know.. maybe a second try...but VERY VERY disappointed as i was looking for a nice Italian restaurant to frequent on a regular basis. Not sure if this is it

Yelp
You have to give Cane Pazzo a try! Amazing Italian spot in Hanahan! The staff was great and Friendly and it was very cute inside. They have outdoor and indoors seating the patio is a great spot to hang out with friends and enjoy some good food. You have to try Crispy Mozzarella! They are like crispy pillows! They are so good and taste so fresh! 11/10 We also shared some roasted carrots and in need this recipe! The whipped ricotta is just so good! 11/10 I had the mezzalune was the pasta I had and it was delicious! The flavoring is good. Just wish there was more of it! 9/10 I had the Built for Comfort 9/10 and the Lemoncello 8/10 for my drinks and for dessert the banana gelato. I only wish the banana flavoring was stronger 8/10

Yelp
We have found one of our favorite restaurants. Charleston is known for their restaurant scene but honestly, it's not that great. Not Cane Pazzo though. The space is designed perfectly with an intimate feel. The service is excellent. If you don't see a reservation available online, call, they sometimes can squeeze you in. Their menu is always changing which is such a pleasant surprise! Food and drinks are both reasonably priced for what you get. We both got pasta and it was great. We will be back soon!

Yelp
Service, ambiance, and food all lived up to the hype. What a gem in Hanahan! The restaurant is large but cozy and you can see into the kitchen. My water glass was never empty haha and service was friendly and thorough! They were very busy for a Thursday night but we still felt taken care of. We got the meatballs, bread service, mozzarella sticks, three pastas, steak, tiramisu, and gelato. Everything was delicious but if I had to choose a few from that order, I would get the meatballs, bread, filled pasta, steak, baked pasta, and gelato. The meatballs are a family recipe and have awesome flavor - sometimes I can be underwhelmed by meatball seasonings. The filled pasta was DELICIOUS and maybe the best part of the meal - autumn flavors with a tart but salty sauce - the perfect fall dish. And the banana gelato (and bday gelato for my bday!) was surprisingly good and creamy with salty cookie and dark chocolate/dulce de leche toppings. This is going to get a place in our regular rotation!

Yelp
Very delicious food! Expensive and happy hour had strange restrictions. I love the location and may return for dinner, but I would love to see a more rotating menu!

Yelp
Cane Pazzo is the definition of a neighborhood gem--warm, lively, and full of kind, genuine service. The food blew me away from start to finish. The daily bread is easily one of the best things I've had in Charleston. I tried the crispy clam strips , gramigna, bucatini nero, and the agnolotti--which stole the show and might be my new favorite pasta anywhere. Everything feels thoughtful and well-crafted while being affordable. Between the glow of the oven, the buzz of the room, and a menu that celebrates both comfort and creativity, Cane Pazzo is a place I'll keep coming back to.

Yelp
I am SO, SO excited for this addition to Hanahan. I wanted to come twice before I wrote a review to make sure it wasn't a fluke and I am so happy to report it wasn't! I've dined twice - once on a date night and once for a family birthday celebration - and both times Cane Pazzo was phenomenal. We've ordered quite a few items from the menu but the can't-miss dishes are definitely anything on the specials board, the fried mozzarella, the meatballs, the agnolotti, the risotto (I had a nice tomato, n'duja, stracciatella version), tiramisu, and the entire cocktail/mocktail list. If the long beans are still on the menu, grab those also. We also really, really enjoyed the potatoes if you have room for a side! The pastas are all made in house and I love that even a "simple" dish feels elevated. I can't wait to come with my friends and order family style so I can try even more! I love the ambience and the staff. I love the food and the drinks. What a wonderful addition to the area! Do yourself a favor and stop in!

Yelp
Cane Pazzo was a great choice for Friendsgiving this year! It is an an unassuming place by its location but there is a delightful patio outdoors and the inside is cozy and warm. The drink menu is diverse and I had an old fashion that was perfect. I ordered the mushroom risotto that was the best I have had. Everyone else loved their meals and our server wad attentive and passionate about his job. The tiramisu was incredible and I look forward to returning again soon to try more items on the menu.

Yelp
Is there a sixth star option? This place was amazing. I know it's been getting a lot of hype lately, but worthy of every praise.. Tucked in the back of strip mall, this is a not so hidden gem. Features a patio (with events), beautiful bar, open kitchen, and classy yet easy going ambiance. Our server Rachel was amazing. Her recommendations of literally half the menu was on point as well ordered half the menu and were impressed by each selection (see photos). Make your way to north charleston, the drive is worth it

Yelp
So excited to try out a local Italian spot that opened right outside of Charleston. Beautiful establishment located in a strip mall (do NOT let that prevent you from visiting). The interior was stunning and the view of the kitchen is a beautiful touch. There were so many mouth watering choices on the menu. The wood fired sourdough with white pimento was one of our favorites. Will be a must order any time we visit. Also had wood fired peppers, pasta, and added on the long beans at the last minute per the recommendation of our server. Everything was wonderful! Waitress and hostesses were very sweet. A bit loud- but again- worth it!

Yelp
I can not say enough amazing things about Cane Pazzo! We came later on a Saturday night. Packed house. Make sure to make a reservation way ahead thats for sure. The food, drinks, dessert, service, ambience.. fabulous! The waiter Nick, my man! Great service, very knowledgeable. The food, chefs kiss! Applause to all of the kitchen. Christmas decor, music & even a train that could easily be missed unless you're looking for it. Please keep the train year round! The Daily Bread is an absolute must to order everytime! You will not be disappointed. We loved it all honestly but I was a little sad with the roasted carrots. The dish tasted great, but i like vegetables and the 2 different sauces took over any carrot flavor. We learned that the Chef rotates the menu often to keep dishes & food items fresh & seasonal. Very happy to have such a restaurant like this close by and not all the way downtown. We will be back many times!

Yelp
Cane Pazzo truly lives up the idea of a hidden gem. Located in a strip mall off Yeaman's Hall Rd in Hanahan it's a startling transformation as you leave the parking lot of a Piggly Wiggly and step into a date night worthy classy Italian restaurant. The name means "Mad Dog", a nickname of the chef and owner. The interior is inviting with old photos of family lining the walls. We started with cocktails, my wife having the "against the wind", a tequila drink with Campari, grapefruit, blood orange, and lime. It was rich and fruity. I ordered the "a horse with no name" which was a bourbon drink with lemon, and langhe rosso. I was pleasantly surprised that a drink that has bourbon and red wine would pair so well. For our first appetizer we ordered the very popular daily bread which was wood-fired sourdough, ricotta, Little Wing honey, and benne seed. The bread arrived perfectly charred with sweet and spicy notes from the hot honey and rich ricotta dolloped on top. Ordering this is a must! Up next, the meatballs made with beef + pork, spicy tomato, polenta, and parmesan. The spice profile was excellent, but the true star of the dish was the rich, velvety polenta which you should dip each bite into. On Mondays they have what they call "Mad Dog Monday" where they offer an additional menu, so you have more choices. My wife ordered the chicken parmesan off the Mad Dog menu, which was a crispy chicken thigh, linguine, spicy tomato sauce, basil, and parmesan. The thigh meat meant the chicken was very juicy and the linguine was a perfect al dente. I ordered off the Mad Dog menu as well getting the lumache alla vodka with tomato, cream, whipped ricotta, and crispy prosciutto. The sauce was creamy and full of flavor and the pasta al dente all the way! Service here is on par with the fanciest downtown restaurants, attentive, polite and they even boxed up our leftover for us. A class act all the way! Cane Pazzo provides a much-needed upper-level dining experience in an area that was lacking in upscale dining. Definitely check them out and I would recommend going on a Monday!

Yelp
Having popped up on Eater several times and giving them ample time to work out the kinks since opening, we booked a Friday night family dinner with the kids to check out Cane Pazzo! The interior is lovely- super warm and comfortable- we had a nice corner booth giving the kids wiggle room. Service was fine- our waiter seemed new, reading the entire menu to us and a little slow in circling back around - nothing horrific. The food was very tasty - well seasoned and delicious. The veggies were the highlight of the meal- carrots and broccoli - wood fired with great seasoning. The wine serving was odd- ours served in water beakers. The server quickly brought wine glasses to us explaining all still wine is served in beakers, sparkling in actual wine glasses. Overall, an awesome Hanahan option!

Carlee V.

Yelp
Amazing service and the KC strip was our favorite! We will be returning. The sourdough bread service was also delicious!

Yelp
My husband and I shared a phenomenal meal on a date night at Cane Pazzo, and we can't wait to go back! We made a reservation (a must!) for a Friday evening and were promptly seated in a cozy corner booth. The restaurant was a little on the loud side, but became quieter as the evening grew later. Our server, Anne, was friendly and warm, and made excellent menu recommendations for us. We couldn't decide on which appetizer to order, so we went with three! The meatballs with polenta were the most delicious I've ever had, the mortadella crescentini special was fabulous, and the daily bread is NOT to be missed. My husband ordered the agnolotti and I had the risotto, and both were simple, tasty, and perfectly cooked. For dessert we had tiramisu and peach swirl gelato, both of which were lovely. I HIGHLY recommend Cane Pazzo - it was the best meal I've had in a long time, and we can't wait to go back.

Yelp
Geniunely one of the most well rounded best family meal that is both comforting and innovative using local produce and seasonal offerings. The staff is amazing and we were in and out really quick for a meal before the baseball game. The vibes is diner meets rustic Italian farmhouse feels. I really enjoyed every dish, especially the meatballs and the bucatini! Their veggies are all a must and the tiramisu ‼

Yelp
Who would have thought this unassuming little corner plaza in Hanahan would house multiple delicious restaurants? I have to start off with a shout out to our amazing server, Anne H. She treated us like family, to the point where I was wracking my brain to figure out if I had met her before or somehow knew her. If she had grabbed an extra chair to sit with us, it would have felt totally normal. If you get Anne as your server, count your blessings. You're off to a great start. As for food... This group of friends and I choose a restaurant for quarterly family dinner. We typically order the entire menu. CP's menu was a little too long for that to happen, but we did order most of it. Appetizers: 1. Two orders of meatballs (currently $13 each), honestly one of the best meatballs I have ever had the luck to eat. I could have just eaten that meatball and left happy. 2. The daily bread ($8) was crispy on the bottom and fluffy on top and melting deliciousness in my mouth. Anne described it as a Neapolitan pizza style crust and she was spot-on. 3. Two orders of Shuler Farms peach special ($14) - we ordered one and ate it so quickly that we asked for a second order. Even better than the meatballs, if I dare say. This is the dish that peaches were made for. 4. Two orders of fig & prosciutto special ($14) - I don't normally like gorgonzola anything, but this was delicious. 5. Crispy mozz ($10) I didn't actually try this but everyone else at the table loved it, especially with the leftover sauce from the meatballs. 6. Long beans ($8) - I would eat this every day for the rest of my life. The fontina fondue? Genius. Loved it. It was also really fun to pull the beans out like spaghetti. 7. Charred eggplant ($8) this was an afterthought and we ordered it with our entrees, but also deserves recognition. YUM. Entrees: We ordered all of the pastas. Six of us, six pastas, good math. 1. Linguine ($25) was my favorite. Lightly seasoned, the most summer-y dish in my opinion. 2. Agnolotti ($25) second favorite. The creamed corn made the dish for me. 3. Lumache ($24) the perfect bite and the perfect ragu. 4. Bucatini ($22) closest to standard spaghetti and sauce for our pickiest eater but we all went back for another bite. 5. Triangoli ($23) triangle raviolis, almost everyone's favorite but mine - it was a little al dente for me, but the filling was divine. 6. Risotto ($29) I don't love crab so it was my least favorite by no fault of its own. My friends also each ordered an affogato (I had a bite and wish I could have had room for more) and two got tiramisu to bring home for breakfast, which looked very good. Next time I want to try the proteins and the potato and I will definitely save room for dessert.

Yelp
The food was delicious and came out in a timely manner. Enjoyed the non-alcoholic selections. The staff were very friendly and appreciated that they were able to make accommodations for dietary restrictions. The restaurant itself was very clean and a great fire oven.

Yelp
Wow, what a ln amazing new addition to the Charleston food scene ! Everything was absolutely amazing and from decor to the food, service and more ! Yelp
My favorite restaurant in Charleston. Everything is we'll thought out from cocktails, wines, and beers to apps, salads, pastas, and entrees. The fresh pastas are all amazing and its difficult to limit the order to only a few. You will love this place instantly.

Annette R.

Yelp
What to applaud first? The food is amazing. The pastas are inventive and every one is delicious. Meatball...amazing.Veggies perfect. Desserts? I have only had the tiramisu. I want to try the other desserts but I keep going back to the tiramisu . It's too good! Compliments on the wine list. Fairly priced and each one is chosen thoughtfully. Not one isn't excellent. The service is engaging but not intrusive. The atmosphere is fun. Definitely well worth a drive for our favorite Italian in Charleston.

Yelp
Food 6 Service 7 Ambiance 4 ( very noisy even on a Monday) Tortellini - Eight --- beyond Al dente dough balls Bucatini bolognese -- gummy pasta light on ingredients with a vinegar after taste Garlic bread -- tasty Chopped salad - tasty small portion with one Castelvetrano olive cut in half and a few cubes of ham Wines ( by the glass) were drinkable Considering the portion size - Cane Pazzo is no more reasonable than high end Charleston restaurants

Yelp
Cane Pazzo just opened up around the corner from us-- we are super excited to have some more food options in the neighborhood. The vibe is perfect--cute, cozy, nice enough for a special date night but also easygoing for bringing along kids or visting family. My boyfriend and I went early on a wednesday and were able to be seated even though there were already quite a few tables. It picked up towards 7pm, but still had a nice volume, even when fully packed. It has that warm Italian gathering spot feel and service was an absolute pleasure. Our server (I forget her name!) was thoughtful, checked on us regularly, and gave great recs. We sat at one of the hightops towards the front. We appreciated that there were considered non-alcoholic cocktails on the menu, and I ordered a tart grapefruit mocktail served in vintage glassware. For appetizers we ordered two of the sides-- the wood-oven cabbage with fontina fondue and crispy garlic, and the squash and zucchini sformati with cracker crumb and provolone. Both were knockouts, but we were partial to the cabbage, which had just a nice char. For the main we shared the market fish, which that day was a pan-seared tilefish with green garlic, lemon, white wine, caper and parsley. The sauce was almost a tartar consistency, and the preparation simple and effective. Fish was cooked perfectly, served piping hot, and went fast. We also split a pasta dish-- on our server's rec we ordered the trangoli, a triangle pasta with herb ricotta, sungold tomato, garlic, white wine, and pecorino. I LOVED this dish. The sungold tomatoes were so zesty and fresh, different than your typical tomato sauce and took me a second to appreciate. A note on the pasta: it is definitely hand made and served traditionally al dente so expect a toothier bite. Lastly we had to try the housemade tiramisu. I'm typically not a fan but this version was great--creamy and not cloyingly sweet. The trick is to really get messy with it and work the cocoa powder into each spoonful. Overall, we had a great experience. We will definitely be back to try some of the other menu options. Excited to try it during nicer weather too, they had some bistro chairs outside...
google avatar

Yelp
Perfect experience from service, vine, interior and most importantly the food. Meatballs are a must, not pictured is one of the best Caesars I've had. Pasta options are can't miss. Just a wonderful spot and we will be back soon and often.

Yelp
We were excited to snag a reservation at this new spot in Hanahan. We got the fried mozzarella...generous portion, fresh and the perfect ratio of cheese to fried, crunchy breading. We also got the daily bread and I could have eaten 2 more orders. lol. The decor is cozy but I did find the atmosphere a little loud. We also had a two person table right at the front behind the hostess stand...not ideal. But overall we loved it and will for sure go back!

Yelp
Food was very delicious. The only complaint that I have is that we had a party of seven & an automatic 20% tip was applied to our bill. The service wasn't good & I wouldn't have tip that amount. We arrived at seven PM with reservations & found the place to be very noisy but after an hour or so, it got a less noisy.

Yelp
Love this new spot in the neighborhood. Cute place, open kitchen, nice wine list, with a decent cocktail list as well. Menu was simple and to the point. All four items we had were great. My favorite was the okra. Anne was our super helpful server and walked us through the whole menu as it was our first time dinning there. I will be back for sure.

Yelp
A "must visit" establishment of the Charleston culinary scene. We attempted a visit last Friday; unfortunately, we were greeted by a line of patrons which extended well past the restaurant's charming threshold and were informed the next available reservation was four hours into the future. Tonight, we arrived with a reservation in hand: if you're interested in a really excellent dining experience, it's highly recommended you do the same. The dining room was comfortable, welcoming, and not stuffy or crowded in the least. My spouse and I were seated in a corner booth and greeted by our server Anne, who was exceptionally friendly, knowledgeable, and, perhaps most of all, welcoming. We ordered our drinks first and the cocktail menu was tasteful and got to the point, which was appreciated. We ordered three appetizers, simply because we couldn't decide which to cut: the daily bread, the meatballs which were nothing short of heavenly, and the mortadell' e crescintini... somewhere an Italian chef just kissed his fingertips without knowing why. We could've stopped there; instead, my spouse received her risotto and I the agnolotti stuffed with...wait for it... Creamed corn! I can't make this up. Agnolotti stuffed with creamed corn in a light, fresh tomato sauce. Like Gordon Ramsay, I usually prefer my entree with a mid rare protein, but it just worked. Anne knowledgeably informed us the ingredients were locally sourced, which was evidenced by how fresh everything was. Just a divine experience: this will be on my list of unforgettable Italian dining experiences for the rest of my life. We were very thankful for Anne, the Chef and his team who all worked to provide us with a memorable meal. Grazie mille!

Yelp
We just decided to stop in around 8 pm. The ambiance was really cool - felt like an old Italian restaurant. We ordered a few things to try. The meatballs, Cesar salad, ravioli and squash. The favorites were the ravioli which had a nice lemon Sauce. The only thing was the basil on top was dark and not sure if it got hot or was bad ? My husband loved the meatballs. We would recommend and come back again to try more dishes. Ample parking !

Yelp
Outstanding service and food! The perfect date night. Meatballs were to die for. The Caesar salad was the best we have ever had. The Daily Bread was wonderful!!! The pink snapper and pasta dish we shared were so delicious! It was all perfect. Cocktails and wine rounded out our evening and we can't wait to go back!

Yelp
Cane Pazzo is the real deal! The Lumache is an easy pick, but the daily specials are always incredible. We are there all the time since they opened!

Yelp
Came here the other day for the first time. Friendly staff, and nice ambience, it was packed on a random weekday at 7pm! Server was knowledgeable, had solid recommendations -- also -- bathrooms Were immaculately clean and scented, always check the bathrooms. I plan to go back again and try more dishes as their menu evolves -- did not try any speciality drinks but maybe next time! Homemade tiramisu was very good, not too sweet, which is always a good sign.

Yelp
Great decor and friendly staff. The bartender was outstanding in her professionalism and knowledge. I had a pasta dish; lumache. The flavor was excellent and the portion was appropriate. In my opinion, the pasta wasn't al dente.

Yelp
Run, don't walk to Cane Pazzo! What a lovely hidden gem! I'm often traveling to North Charleston for business from out of town, and this place is a REALLY welcome addition to the food scene there. I kind of stumbled on to it while looking for good Italian in the area one night, and they exceeded every expectation! The service is attentive, and the food is top notch. Even though it's tucked into a strip mall, they've managed the impressive feat of carving out a cozy and charming outdoor space to complement the wonderful ambience inside. It's clear that everyone here puts a lot of care and attention into what they do. I'm definitely adding this place to my "must do" list whenever I'm back in town!
