I took my wife here for her birthday. We did the 7 course tasting, she did the wine (alcoholic) pairing and I did the non-alcoholic paring. Honestly the best way to go to get the most comprehensive experience (if you’re both willing to share). We loved the pasta with the Berkshire pork, we both agree it may have been the best thing we’ve ever eaten in our lives! I will say many of the dishes were quite earthy, which isn’t my palate much (though it is my wife’s)… but I recommend just slowing down and enjoying the dish for what it is. Every bite got better, and flavor fatigue was no issue. Portion sizes couldn’t have been better, and we both left comfortably full. Zach was our waiter, he was amazing. He was very knowledgeable and a great guide, sharing his insight helped highlight great aspects of this experience. I gave the largest tip I’ve ever given, and it was well deserved! This was NOT a cheap meal, it was very expensive (we got additional drinks) but it was worth every penny and you definitely get what you pay for. The BEST fine dining experience we’ve ever had! If you’re looking for fine dining and an amazing experience, we’d recommend this to anyone who is willing to pay! We will absolutely be back to try their seasonal menu at a different time of year. We loved this place!

Went here as a group of 10 for a work holiday event. We were in the back room that overlooks the garden, but with it being winter-ish outside, couldn't see much BUT it was still a nice, large more private space. When I arrived, there were already 2 people there that had ordered cocktails. We didn't receive our cocktails until about 20 minutes after we had sat down (so much longer of a wait for the first people that had arrived). Their espresso martinis are the literal sweetest I've ever had, couldn't really taste coffee in them. The Hive cocktail was very good, the honey slowly oozing in a controlled way down the cup was really cool! As a group, we ordered the 7 course menu and most people added the wine pairing with the meals. I informed them that I had Celiac when we ordered, and they were incredibly mindful about my gluten allergy the entire dinner, explaining dishes to me individually with each course! Unfortunately the people that got the wine pairing were receiving their few ounces of wine about 10 minutes before the courses came out...so the timing was very off. I would say that 4 our of the 7 courses were amazing, bursts of flavor, and you could really tell with each and every course how much effort and thought was going into each plate, along with beautiful plating. It was good, just not great, unfortunately. With waiting for drinks and waiting a while between courses, we were there for almost 4 hours total.

I absolutely loved my experience here! The food was amazing, so unique and different than what I’ve had elsewhere. In addition, it was packed full of flavor and variety. I had the 7 course meal, paired with the non-alcoholic drinks, and I loved the whole experience. The drinks paired well with the meals, and I was stuffed by the end of the night. The kitchen recognized I was celebrating 5 years of being an entrepreneur and made a special extra dessert at the end for my friends and I to share. It was thoughtful and kind. I would love to come again and experience their continual rotating menu! It was inspiring to taste and see how the kitchen was ran, made me want to get more creative in my own kitchen! I’ve recommended this restaurant to several other people, and plan to come back again in the future!

We had an amazing dinner at Table X in Salt Lake City and did the seven-course prix fixe with the wine pairing, which was absolutely worth it. The meal flowed beautifully from start to finish, with thoughtful, seasonal dishes that felt elevated but not fussy. The snapper was a standout—perfectly cooked and really bright and balanced—and the beef course was rich, comforting, and one of those dishes you don’t want to end. The wine pairing was excellent and really enhanced the experience without ever feeling heavy or showy. Each pour made sense with the dish and added to the overall progression of the meal. Our server Mickey was wonderful and made the night even better. He was knowledgeable, approachable, and executed the wine pairing flawlessly. He also gave us some great Salt Lake City recommendations, which we really appreciated. Table X manages to feel special without feeling stuffy. If you’re looking for a memorable dinner, great service, and a thoughtfully curated tasting menu, this place delivers. We would absolutely come back.

This was a really cool place. We all chose the 7 course meal as apposed to the 5 course meal and I am happy that I did. I also chose to get the nonalcoholic drink pairing. Each course was really lovely. Plated beautifully and the drink pairings were perfect. I was surprised that the drinks were actually my favorite part of the meal. I wish I could go order just the drinks at any time. The lighting was nice, the service was lovely. I wish I had taken more photos but I didn't want my phone to get in the way of such a nice experience. It was quite expensive but a great place for a special event.

I’m going to start with the bad, because it was the most memorable aspect of this dinner. When our first course “salad” came out, it immediately reminded me of the SpongeBob episode where they tried to make the Krusty Krab fancy by offering a “salaad”. I was looking forward to the steak they had as a main course on their online menu, but was instead met with “dehydrated, rehydrated green beans” and a pork meatball. The recession must be bad, because after the first bite all I could hear was planes overhead like they had foraged this from WW2 war rations. Very disappointing. The pasta course was also…ehh. The pacing was also off, sometimes our next course came out while we still had the previous, and the next we’d be waiting quite a while that I even finished my wine before it came out. So for the good, the bread was amazing, and the trout course was so good I would come back and order it again. The wine pairing, albeit expensive, was good and matched very well with each course. It was an experience, and one I probably won’t be participating in again, but good friends combined with the above made for a very memorable experience.

This was my first experience with a tasting menu and it was phenomenal. Every dish was perfectly seasoned and delicious. The wine pairing for each enhanced the dish to a new level. The highlights for me were the mushrooms, beef, and lemon coconut curd. That said, there was not a bad dish. We sat at the chef's counter and it was really interesting to watch the chef's as the prepared our food. Service was also prompt and engaging. I will absolutely be coming back!

The wait staff was amazing. Attentative, prompt and friendly. The food was tasty. The mushroom course was my favorite. We also enjoyed the non alcoholic drink pairing. However, please be just a little faster between courses. Love your food but hate waiting so long between courses. Oh. The bread and cultured butter were divine.

Absolutely incredible experience at TableX tonight. Our sever, Austin, was phenomenal. The rest of the staff was also so great and attentive. We got the 7 course menu with the mocktail pairing to celebrate my birthday. To be honest it's hard to pick a favorite because each dish was so excellent and they all married together so well. Love that they use seasonal and local ingredients, even some from their own garden! This will be a new regular spot so that we can hit all the seasonal differences. The spase is stunning. The food matches the ambiance. You're missing out if you don't check this place out!

We came in with high hopes and were excited to sit at the bar to enjoy the open kitchen experience. While the food was decent, what stood out more to us was the overall atmosphere--particularly the mood of the staff. My husband and I value not just the food, but the full dining experience, including ambiance and the energy of the team. For a restaurant in this price range, we had expected a bit more warmth or engagement from the staff. Instead, the service felt mechanical and reserved, with little interaction, even among the team. It may have just been an off night, but it left us feeling a bit underwhelmed. Having dined at many Michelin-starred restaurants in the DC and NY area, this experience lacked the spirit that usually makes meals memorable. I had an amazing experience here! I chose the seven course tasting menu ($115) with non-alcoholic beverage pairing (5 for an extra $30). All their ingredients were sourced from local farms or their own garden. Every dish was plated very nicely and had a wonderful aroma that got my mouth watering before tasting them. The highlight of the evening was definitely the Intermountain Gourmet Mushrooms, which served well as their signature dish. The mushrooms had such a strong & exquisite flavor that paired so nicely with the rice congee. I'm definitely coming back for their mushrooms and I'm so interested to try other dishes they make with them! I also was very impressed by their coconut lemon curd. Lemon curd usually has a flavor that's too strong and sour for me, but their lemon curd had a mild flavor yet still delicious! The combination of it with toasted walnut flaxseed crumble and candied ginger was incredible, too. If I were to only consider these dishes, I'd definitely give it a 6-star if I could. However, I was slightly disappointed with the salad. I didn't find it impressive, and the portion was quite small (I know it's fine dining, but I just didn't feel satisfied after eating it). Moreover, I didn't like the beverages much. There was only one or two that I enjoyed. I won't get the beverages again. Overall, I really enjoyed my time there. Service was top-notched. I highly recommend this place for special occasions, and definitely get their mushrooms!!

The bread here is absolutely amazing, so fresh, soft on the inside with the perfect crust. You can really taste the quality and care in every bite.

If SLC had a Michelin star location, I would put this on the list. Fantastic staff, the speed of service was great, and our server was very interactive. Some of the chefs preparing seemed to give us the side eye. I felt pretty certain, but I may have mistaken that. The food was very well prepared, plated, and tasteful. Though the bites appear small, by the time the courses are finished we were full. The food and wine pairing was coming at a fast pace as soon as each item finished. Preset dessert was just a little dry, and though cookies were a free bonus I've had better. The bathroom has hilarious paintings that I highly recommend checking out! Overall, a higher end restaurant that I really enjoyed. Wouldn't mind coming back! Ambiance: 5/5 Food: 4.5/5 Service: 4.5/5

If you're looking for an experience, not just a meal, Table X is a worthy option to consider. It's definitely an elevated food adventure, as is manifest in the quality of the ingredients and the creative dishes. It's not a boring run-of-the-mill place. My wife and I visited recently and opted for the preset menu with five courses. Rather than selecting our dishes from the menu, the chef made those selections for us and we just sat back and enjoyed. And enjoy, we did! Each course was a true work of art. They were unique, flavorful and beautiful! Even though they were smaller in size, they carried a certain power and significance that more "boring" dishes could never do. Service is great-the staff members are all well educated in the dishes, ingredients, pairings, etc. It's obvious that they take pride in what they do and they should! I'd love to return and see what other delights the chefs arrange on future menus.

Refreshing quality in SLC. Ambiance: Not quite what I was expecting for a fine dining, course meal. But the area was spacious, with tables and booths and had a casual vibe overall. Services: overall was decent. Some fumbles, but that was understandable since their menu just changed. Food: I had the seven course meal with the wine pairing while my friends had a cocktail drink and the non alcoholic pairing. Every course was delicious, intricate, and the ingredients worked well together in a way that was unexpected. The pairings were also very unique and complimented the courses well. I definitely left full and well satisfied. Overall, table X certainly shined for me in comparison to the general fine dining scene in Salt Lake City. I felt like the price was fairly reasonable, for the quality you were getting, and even the pairings were reasonably priced for the amount that you were getting. This place is definitely something to look out for, and I look forward to revisiting in the future as the menu tends to change.

We came here for my birthday and I was blown away. I get it, there is hesitation and a level of apprehension for people to try tasting menus because of the cost and the risk of not actually getting served enough food to make you full. But I left filled to the brim and honestly couldn't even finish the cookie they gave us to end the meal. Now granted we did the 7 course menu not the 5 but even had we just had the 5 course tasting menu it would've been enough! For the price, this place was great. We didn't do a drink pairing (why drink calories when you can eat them is my motto). We opted to sit at the chef's table and it was so fun to watch. My favorite of all the courses was honestly the mushrooms - blew me away. Loved the service, the ambiance, and the food. It's definitely a special occasion kind of place but well worth it!!

Have you watched cooking shows, and seen the small portion sizes, and heard the high price per table for a multi course meal and thought.."is it really worth it?"or"I can't imagine paying that much for such small portions", or "maybe, they are just paying that cause the chef is so popular". I have had the same exact thoughts. So I figured I would finally bite the bullet and try a James Beard nominee restaurant in my city to see if it is actually worth it. Ladies and gentlemen, it's worth it. Each plate was perfectly balanced, and well cooked. The whole 7 plate menu worked in harmony with each other. They had local ingredients, bread made in their own bakery, and wonderful non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverage pairings for each plate. At one point my partner and I just sat and enjoyed the feeling of zen that comes from a good meal. The wait staff took great care of us, and were very informed about each meal. I'm excited to go back and try the menu when more fresh ingredients are in season. For my very first time at a "fancy" restaurant I fell in love with the whole experience at Table X. I have no doubt that if you take the time, even if you have to save up to be able to enjoy a meal at Table X, you will fall in love with the experience as well.

Prefacing this review with the fact that it was hard to figure if I was going to do 4/5 stars or 5/5 stars. My husband is a 5 and I am more of a 4.5. We chose to dine around Table X for our anniversary and they were great at making it feel like the occasion it was. Table X offers a 5 or 7 course tasting menu, along with wine pairing, if you so choose. My husband and I both wanted to try the pasta course, which is omitted on the 5 course option, so we both chose the 7 courses. The meal starts with an amuse bouche, which was delicious, which then carries you into the bread and the remaining courses. The soup course was an English Pea soup followed by a mushroom course. I would never ever order either of these items anywhere as I am not partial to either, however... these were both absolutely delicious! The fish course was a halibut, which they had just put on the menu that day, and I did not care for it. My husband thought it was fantastic, which is where our stars differ. Other than the halibut and possibly the cheese dessert, I would say Table X was amazing! Would definitely recommend

This is an amazing spot for people who are visiting Park City. It's a little bit off the beaten path. Compared to Seattle prices where I was based, Table X is a fantastic option. We had the five-course vegetarian tasting menu, and the waiters were nice enough to let us order one à la carte pasta to share amongst our group. That way we didn't have to wait for two and a half hours for the entire seven-course tasting menu, but we still got a chance to taste more dishes. The desserts and bread were also delicious, which is pretty amazing given the high altitude and elevation where it's really hard to bake. I'm excited to go back and take my entire family to Table X.

The ambience of the restaurant was amazing. The lighting was very warm and inviting and the place was well spaced. I felt like I had privacy with my meal but wasn't secluded. The wait staff were incredibly attentive and polite but also engaging and friendly. They made great recommendations and had a thorough knowledge of each dish. The food was outstanding. Every course had a perfect balance of ingredients and flavor profiles. Each dish was incredibly well rounded. The only thing I would change in the future is my seat. I haven't had the opportunity but highly recommend reserving a spot in the garden area. That is the only thing that could have improved the experience for me.

On vacation from Texas and our future son-in-law invited us to dine at Table X to celebrate my daughter's acceptance into her PhD program at Southern University (Dallas). The restaurant is beautiful and we were seated at the Chef's Table. Chef David oversees the quietest kitchen I have ever seen. The kitchen staff are amazing. They just nod at each other and food gets created. During the dining experience, Ada and Courtney provided exceptional service. They were so friendly and explained each dish and answered our various questions about different ingredients and how they were prepared. It was a fun and enjoyable learning experience. I can't pick a favorite dish as each was unique and delicious. A big 'Thank You' to all of the staff that made this such a special evening.

We dined at Table X and had a positive experience, but will not be returning. For a $300 tab after some drinks and the tasting menu for two, we actually had to go home and have some more food because we were starving. I'm seeing some other people's meals and pictures here and feel like our meal was particularly lower in volume with the course choices. I only managed to get a picture of our starter salad since I was trying to be more in the moment. Service was friendly and spectacular, but I did have to pour my own wine from the bottle in the chiller throughout the whole night, which I felt was kind of odd for a "coursed" meal. Ambiance was open and fresh and beautiful, but since it's an open kitchen, you'll be smelling the fish they're grilling throughout the evening. If you're sensitive to smell, I would avoid dining here. The food had good flavors and taste, but being someone who has had many Michelin experiences, this experience felt like it was a nice introductory course to pre-fixed fine dining here in SLC. I applaud the use of locally sourced ingredients, and that is important to the message they're trying to convey here. The prices are approachable for 5 to 7 course menus, but I would still spend my few hundred dollars elsewhere next time.

I had a really great experience at Table X. The food was excellent and service was outstanding! I was on the hunt for a solid tasting menu in the area and I was excited to see that is what Table X is all about. I went with the 7 course option and enjoyed each course. Highlights for me were the homemade pasta, lamb, and dessert dishes, but honestly everything was good. They offer wine and non-alcoholic pairings with either course option. I skipped the full non-alcoholic pairing but did try one of the options which I believe was a basil tonic. It was really nice. I also had coffee with the dessert courses which was very good as well. I really can't say enough positive things about the service. Everyone was so nice, my silverware was swapped out seamlessly between each course, and the pace was perfect. I would definitely recommend trying out Table X and I can't wait to return.

I am completely torn on how to review this restaurant. The food was good, a few of the courses were exemplary. Yet, there's something about the experience that was just okay. I think, with a tasting menu (the only choice-either 5 or 7 courses) I wanted more atmosphere. It just seemed sort of cold and absolutely WAY too bright. The main course of the tasting menu was lamb, which I don't eat. They offered me the main course of the vegetarian menu, which was a vegetable "steak." It wasn't very good and it seemed undercooked. I asked if I could substitute the house made pasta with braised duck, which is on the seven course menu. The server seemed quite uncomfortable with the request and said she would ask the chef. She came back, and said he doesn't like to make any substitutions which was ridiculous because he was already making a substitution! However, some of the dishes were amazing. We started with the bread & butter, which is spectacular! We ordered a loaf to take home. It's so good! The rice and lentil soup was incredible, with the umami of the broth absolutely delicious. I should have asked for another serving of that as my main. The fish course was very good, perfectly cooked. My dinner companions thought the lamb was "just okay." The sour cherries and beets in juniper cream was really good...a savory dish or a dessert? Not sure but it was good. The dessert of olive oil cake tasted fine but looked horrible. So I guess I'm glad I had the experience, but I wouldn't go again.

This place was awesome for us. Sounds like the experience is fairly inconsistent but we enjoyed everything. Our favorites: Amuse bouche - incredible, one of the best bites i've ever had Local Mushroom & Wild rice - INCREDIBLE, I loved this. Had this crazy almost smokey flavor, was so savory considering it was only vegetables. Campanelle pasta - had such a good bite / texture. Could eat bowls of this. Non-alchoholic drink pairings - AMAZING, never have I ever had so much fun with drinks. Everything went so well with the dishes. Service was great, very friendly and willing to explain the dishes. The interior was pretty friendly, not unapproachable like in some higher end restaurants. Felt very utah / homegrown.

We did the seven course tasting. I came hungry, and unfortunately left a little hungry as well. We sat at the counter. The difference between the 5 and 7 course was the house made pasta and the goat's milk pudding. I will say that the pasta was my least favorite course, but the pudding was one of the top. Many of their veggies and garnishes come from their own garden. You can definitely taste the freshness in those ingredients. The olive oil cake left much to be desired. Our server was very attentive to our drink and water levels, and was very helpful when it came to drink selections. We did not do the wine pairing. Overall it was a nice experience, as we like to try highly rated tastings when we visit new cities. However, I did think this one was a little overhyped and wish the portions would have been just a touch bigger.

My wife and I just had what is the best meal that I've enjoyed in Utah since we moved here 2-1/2 years ago. It was a seven-course tasting menu at Table X (as in the letter, not the Roman numeral). We had never been to Table X before. The restaurant is on the upper floor with a bakery below. It's a simple, almost austere space, with a somewhat open kitchen. Our server Jay was excellent. He was enthusiastic, and knowledgeable about the menu and wines. Speaking of wines, I had totally forgotten that I had booked the reservation because it was a special wine dinner featuring wines by Ronsel do Sil, a vineyard and winery in Galicia, Spain. And, yes, the wines were interesting, varied, unusual and delicious. Every single course was distinctive and tasty. The favorite of both my wife and myself was the tagliatelle. It reminded me of the last dregs in the bottom of a big pot of mussels at a Belgian bar. You know, when you ask the bartender for more bread to sop up the rest of the broth? If not, trust me, that's the right thing to do. Anyway, I read another review in which the reviewer said that he makes dinner at Table X a quarterly thing. I will, too.

A 2022 James Beard Award semifinalist, Table X showcases its commitment by listing 11 local partners on the menu, from the mushroom supplier to the ceramicist who crafted the tableware. Even more impressive, many of the plated components were sourced from the restaurant's garden or the chef's home garden. Dishes were generally simple and thoughtfully composed, which allowed the quality ingredients to shine through. The lighter, vegetable-forward starters were impressive, especially the mushroom dish, where the earthiness of the mushrooms paired beautifully with charred beet, balanced by a touch of vinegar. As for the more substantial courses, each protein was cooked to perfection. The bass was delicious, with salsa and a local beer adding intriguing flavors without overwhelming the delicate fish. The fresh tomato salad atop the tagliatelle brightened the rich sauce made from red wine-braised beef. The leg of lamb was the standout dish, epitomizing late summer cooking with sweet corn purée, garden currants, and smoky local potatoes. Each dish was tightly composed, with every element on the plate playing a distinct role. Counting a popsicle as a course made me roll my eyes, but it was delicious and a perfect segue into the more substantial almond cake with silky smooth, perfectly tart lemon curd. - TWP ______________________________________ When it comes to the food, Table X did little wrong. Every course was prepared well, properly seasoned, and had fresh and often locally sourced ingredients. I'd say the major drawback was that nothing was super unique or memorable. Even reviewing the menu to try to pull out specifics, I just scanned the menu and keep muttering "that was good." I suppose the major highlights were the salsa borracha on the sea bass that gave it a nice kick and the preparation of the lamb, which was super tender and crispy on the outside. The popsicle dessert was also a fun twist and an additional off-menu brownie at the end was a pleasant surprise. Unfortunately, Table X's score is weighed down by the egregiously slow pacing--a real shame considering the food was very solid. -JB

true farm to table. everything is made in house, grown from their garden or procured locally. my favorites from the vegetarian tasting menu were: 1. poached daikon radish with miso-butter sauce 2. locally grown mushrooms w/ black garlic sauce (it had the most uniquely spicy warming mouthfeel) 3. creme fraiche coffee cake w/ a lemon + olive oil ice cream, buckwheat granola and edible flower garnish 4. cloud nine cocktail/mocktail (plum wine & japanese whiskey) where this place stands out was the service. truly next level service all around (i see you mickey and madelyn). the food was not worth the price IMO (and i am all about spending good money on good food) but the service was superior.

This review is limited to Table X Bread where I regularly order a sandwich. Each week, the restaurant has a new sandwich on offer. There doesn't seem to be a standing menu at the restaurant, but I think this feature makes each visit more fun. The offerings are equally original and delicious. The pastry options are also great. The folks who work here are very nice. The patio is a fine place to enjoy a sandwich and some sunshine. Be warned--seating is limited.

The perfect meal. I've been searching for it for decades. I think I came very close to having it at Table X. The options were simple: 5 course meal or 7 course meal. Regular or Vegan. With wine pairing or with non-alcoholic pairing. Simple. We chose the 7 course meal with one of us having the non-alcoholic pairing. I was a little worried when it started with the amuse bouche because the cracker it was served on was soggy, and I thought it tasted a little stale. But then it just got better and better, culminating in the best dessert I've ever had. The service was good, new silverware with each serving, and the non-alcoholic drinks were very tasty. I think this restaurant will get a Michelin star soon (or does it already have one? or two?). The restaurant had a mix of larger parties, and more intimate dinner for two. It's a great place to go to if you want to have a memorable culinary experience.

I have been traveling to SLC area for the past two years regularly for work and was looking forward to eating out here as a coworker mentioned it was really great. And I do think it was nice, the service was ok but overall I didn't leave blown away by anything. When a place does a tasting menu only I always have higher then usual expectations for both food and service since a lot of variables that a restaurant usually doesn't get to control are controlled in this type of setting. The ambiance is a little mixed with a minimal modern vibe and then some random decorations, multi floors and a patio. We sat at the counter by the kitchen. Love doing this, but the entire time the chefs and cooks never said anything to us even when pushing over items across the counter or when they would be right in front of us it was kind of offsetting. The kitchen in general was super quiet and usually the fun part of sitting at a counter is getting to watch the team work but not so much here. The food was ok some of our party did the regular seven course tasting menu and one did the veggie version. Tasting menu is $115/person and option to a wine pairing for $50. The remedy cocktail with gin and egg whites was good and I would suggest doing the wine pairing which I thought for what was offered was a great deal. Our server did well with explaining the wines especially considering they have to try everything outside of work because of alcohol laws there. What we got: *Amuse and sourdough bread ( great made in house) * Chilled English Pea Soup I thought this was the best dish of the night. Light flavorful. * Mushroom Dish Local mushrooms with black garlic Something about this didn't work for me * Halibut / Poached Diakon Radish (veggie) This was one of my least favorite dishes. It seemed like the halibut (regular menu) version had been made and then they just subbed out the protein for radish on the veggie version and the setup did not translate as well. * Pasta with braised lamb/ Pasta with cauliflower, peas and mint herb sauce (veggie) This was very bland, same comment as before. * Steak / Vegetable steak (veggie) This vegetable steak was so good, really creative and tasty we all thought it was amazing. * Robiola Cheese - so good and loved seeing on a menu * Almond Cake I was glad to get to try this and really enjoyed parts of this dinner but missed that experience element of eating out. We came at 7:45 and it was after 9 when we finished. The team there was nice but was breaking down for most of our visit and talking at the expo area, so may want to get there earlier.

This was an unexpected great find! The farm to table menu was absolutely delicious and the presentation and service was on point. They serve a 7 or 5 course tasting menu with an available vegetarian tasting menu option. You can add the wine pairing or non alcoholic cocktail pairing to either menu. I opted for the non alcoholic beverage pairing ($25) and the 7 course tasting menu ($100) which adds a pasta course and an additional dessert. The restaurant and dining room are unassuming and comfortable with large booths and high ceilings. Just the type of place you could come back to again and again. It's a good thing I got the 7 course tasting because my favorite dishes were the additional pasta course, Torchietto with spicy chili peanut sauce and the additional dessert which was a butterscotch pudding with a light and fluffy meringue on the side. This is one restaurant you don't want to pass up if you are in the Salt Lake City area.

What a great experience all the way around! It's based on tasting menus that are carefully crafted - and they didn't miss a single thing! We had a vegetarian in our group and they had an amazing pairing menu specifically for them! Similarly they had a non alcoholic pairing for people that didn't drink. Everyone raved about the food. The ambience was tremendous and the service was great!

Good composition of tasting menu and overall creative and tasty food. Fish was very good. Dried green beans were questionable. It would have been better fresh or steamed in my opinion. Service and ambiance were great, no complaint. I do like the open kitchen concept. Cocktail was not so special despite of the high price tag - I expect a clear ice cube and a crystal glass at least. Not sure if I would return. Good to see a place like Table X in the area but for the price it is not so compelling. It also feels like penny pinching when they add "kitchen staff tip" on top of your bill, separate from regular tip. Why do this when your menu price is already $115? For a party of two with wine pairing, expect to spend $400 - $450. Not very justifiable price for what's offered. Tasting menu should be $60 / $80.

Such a great experience! I love tasting menus because I always have the hardest time deciding what to eat and here they take that guesswork away and bring you everything! We opted for the seven course tasting for $100. They also offer a five course tasting for $75 which we should've done because we were stuffed and the two additional items we weren't as enthused about. Along with your dinner you can get a wine pairing or a non-alcoholic pairing with your dinner. Since we're lightweights, my friend and I settled for one cocktail each. The seasonal cocktails were on the boozy side so the server recommended us some great alternatives! The courses are perfectly timed and each time I was in awe of the presentation that I failed to hear the server's spiel on each dish. Some of the flavors of the dish on their own would not be pleasant but combined with the other items, they were amazing! Our favorites were the sourdough bread, we each bought a loaf to take home, the mushrooms and the steak. The steak was perfectly cooked at medium rare with this wonderful crunch on the crust! I love that their dishes change seasonally so each time will be a new, fun experience. They were shooting photos and videos for their websites so look for us soon!

Let's start with the good. Staff/Service: Excellent. Waiters were on point, knowledgeable and personable. That's about it for the good. Food Selection: We did the 7 course meal, the selection right off the bat on their tasting menu leaves you wondering what kind of backwards chef came up with the menu. When you have spaghetti and meabtall and popsicle as part of the main attractions, it should put up some red flags. But because of the many good reviews we decided to be open minded. There was nothing that stood out, and the portions leave you hungry even after 7 courses. There was no wow factor and nothing that tasted any better than what you can get from any other restaurant for a fraction of the price. Food quality: You can get better quality food making microwaveable food from Trader Joe's frozen food section. If you've never had a tasting menu in your life before, or traveled to any other place on earth, maybe you'd find some interest, but for everyone else, the quality leaves you wondering what you are paying for. Ambiance: nothing special or fancy, we sat inside but took a tour of their garden section which again looks like it's lacking some professional landscaping. No idea why everyone raves about this place unless they've never stepped foot outside of SLC. Worst tasting menu experience I've had from any restaurant, and the price for what you get is insulting.

The food is very tasty and interesting. The prices are wildly steep. The servings are tiny. But there are enough courses that someone with a medium appetite will probably leave full (I did, my husband and son did not). It was a fun thing to try once, but I wouldn't go regularly.

We came in for the 7 course meal along with a wine tasting. Wife ordered the meat course and I did the vegetarian course. Everything was delicious. Good service wine pairings sort of matched but we loved the wine regardless. Good service and a great night out

I treated myself to a solo date at Table X to enjoy the 7 course dinner at the chef's table with non-alcoholic pairing and it was divine! The food and beverage experience blew me away but the friendly, knowledgeable staff and experience watching the food be prepared made this "me date" one I'll not soon forget. Thanks to the entire team for helping this out-of-town visitor feel right at home. I can't wait to come back and enjoy dinner in the garden.

EXCELLENT. We've dined at many incredible restaurants in our travels and this is one of absolute best. Its modern decor is simple but classy. Sitting at the chef's table for the seven course meal to celebrate our anniversary gave us an incredible view of the staff's methodical preparation of each dish. I had the traditional menu and my wife went with the vegetarian, and we both had the non-alcoholic pairings which featured both hot and cold drinks.

I've been coming to Table X bakery for the past two years for our weekly bread fix (we are addicted to the SLC loaf). My spouse and I came here for our anniversary dinner to finally try the restaurant on the top floor and I absolutely loved the 5 to 7 course menu options. Great variety, everything had wonderful farm to table flavors. My favorite dishes hands down was the waygu steak and the wild mushroom appetizer. Presentation and service was out of this world for SLC. Table X is a must for a fine dining experience in Millcreek!

Table X is a unique dining experience. The menu changes at least weekly in order to provide the freshest seasonal ingredients in every meal. You have your choice of a 5 or 7 course menu, with a vegetarian option if desired. You can also purchase an accompanying alcoholic or nonalcoholic beverage course meant to compliment the meal. Each course was carefully prepared using locally produced food whenever possible. The one staple is the house made sourdough bread with house cultured butter. Both were scrumptious! We ordered the nonalcoholic beverage course since it is so rare to find. The drinks were tasty and unique, like a rhubarb spritzer and mushroom (yes, mushroom) shrub. For foodies that want to be surprised and delighted at every visit, Table X is a must!

The food was farm to table. The service was adequate and the ambiance was quaint. It is a bit overpriced.

5 stars for service, bread, and wine pairing- brought down by the food and value. Went for my partner's birthday and felt that it was overpriced for the food quality, although we didn't have an issue with quantity as some have mentioned. I think another reviewer nailed it: if you've never done a tasting menu before, you'll enjoy it. If you have experienced amazing flavors in food tasting menus before, you may be let down. I found the presentations and depth of flavor lacking, especially for the price, and had expected to be blown away by those. Wines were excellent and I could not speak more highly of our waitress whose name has of course escaped me! But, once was enough for us at Table X- we will definitely come back to purchase some of their incredible bread, though.

We had our anniversary dinner here. The staff was fantastic, so attentive and knowledgeable. We enjoyed the 7 course tasting menu as each flavor was unique. The drink paring was fun, kept us guessing and matched each dish well. We can't wait until the menu turns over as we want to try the next new dish there. There's more than one dish we said "yum, I can have an entire dinner of this or I can really go for more of that"

We did the full course and wine pairing. It was a really fun an unique experience. The food was absolutely incredible and the wine pairing made it even better. The bread is so yummy, but the butter is to die for. They took us out in the garden after and gave us a tour. Loved how they incorporated flowers into the meal and so many fresh and unique flavors. 4/5 strictly for the fact that it's a very expensive meal with not very large portions. The food is a 8/5 though. It was fun for us to celebrate our anniversary there and we would recommend it to anyone as a one time experience.

Eh, expected much more from this place than they delivered. I will say the service was great; they are attentive on refills and cleaning up (although for some reason, when setting my utensils and cleaning off the crumbs, my spot was always messed up...hahaha, I don't hold it against them). They even managed to get us an extra serving of sourdough bread, which was excellent bread. The choices are a 5-course vs. 7-course tasting menu and wine pairings available as well. When inquiring about their wines, I found out they are heavily focused on natural wines...hard pass for me. Coming from the wine industry, I am not a big fan of the "natural wines" movement yet, not saying I hold anything against ppl into it. However, they offered few wines, if any, that were not "natural wines". Next, they did not have the beaujolais available, which I believe tend to be one of the most underrated wines on the menu. Good for them to have it on the menu but unfortunate for us it wasn't in stock. Additionally, when we asked about the Ciliegiolo, which I've never tried, we were told it was a medium-bodied wine that was oaked in French oak barrels for a couple of months. Let me tell you, that wine was most certainly not medium-bodied, had no tannins, and tasted like cherry grape juice...though it was 14% alcohol. It was just an unfortunate start to the night. Now to the food. The amuse bouche was not memorable. The salad and mushroom rice soup were good but not too much to write about. The baja striped bass and lamb definitely made up for the somewhat lackluster course. As my friends mentioned it was an early birthday, they were nice enough to have a plate with Happy Birthday on it for my dessert. With tasting menu restaurants, it's sometimes hit or miss. My friend, who was here before, was disappointed versus the last time he came. As for my first time, it is hardly worth writing about. Debatable if I should give them another chance. But don't fault the service, they were on point!

Was really looking forward to this meal as a birthday celebration with my partner. We both left completely disappointed and like we could have picked 10 other places in SLC we would have rather spent the evening. I'm going to leave this pretty high level and say that there was not one dish (out of 7 courses) I would want to eat again (other than the bread and maybe the dessert). Each plate lacked any flavor or seasoning , two dishes were severely poorly prepared (underdone and overdone) and the what we thought would be the star of the show (the pasta) was SUCH a let down. The wine pairings were nice - our server did an excellent job with this- but we wish the food they were paired with would have even been remotely exciting. Our inner foodies were sad to have spent so much on such a poor meal. We have lived and dined out in major cities quite a bit , and we wanted this to be our "city spot" here in SLC - it's not. The ambiance is okay - nothing to rush back to... a little cold. Sadly this was an expensive birthday dinner that flopped. We hit our favorite sushi spot the next night to make up for the disaster. Again- our server was great!!!! Only nice things to say about her.

I love the farm to table concept that changes with the seasons! I've been here twice so far and have gotten both the 5 and 7 course meals. If you don't have a huge appetite, go with the 5 course. The 7 course gives you an additional pasta dish and a second dessert. There is also a decent amount of time in between dishes for some reason so I found myself getting full and struggling to finish the dishes towards the end. The meal starts off pretty light with veggie forward dishes and then eventually you'll get to a fish dish, the pasta (if you got the 7 course), and then a meat dish. I tried the non-alcoholic drink pairing once, but not sure I would recommend it. The drinks were a hit or miss for me and came in pretty large quantities. If you get it, definitely plan on splitting it with someone. I think I would stick to the wine pairing next time.

With reviews ranging from "perfect dinner" to "not one dish I would want to eat again", Table X has got to be one of the most inconsistent restaurants ever. So we took the gamble and unfortunately for our dinner, this wasn't a new or inventive dining experience....this is a set menu with nearly all misses. The memorable good: House Sourdough - up there with the better made sourdoughs we've had. And the less good: Mushroom and rice soup - we still joke about this as the worst dish we've ever had at an upscale/fancier restaurant. This is mushroom and rice sitting in soy sauce lol. Baja striped bass - WAY oversalted skin and the fish itself was over. Leg of lamb - also overcooked. Disappointing to be one of the more expensive restaurants in the city, but the consistency just isn't there. Ambience/service: Table X seemed to also miss the mark on the finer details that distinguish top-notch restaurants. Things like using a metal crumb scraper on a now screeching metal table and the awkwardly bright lighting did not help in making the night one to repeat. Overall, it's a bummer that Table X falls so short in terms of consistency and overall dining experience.

What a delicious gastronomic experience! I had the pleasure of being treated to a dinner here by some very dear friends and had a delightful evening. Our server Conor was very familiar with my friends who come here quite often and by the end of the evening I felt like we could be friends. The value of this type of service, of a server being able to make lasting connections with patrons, should be applauded, as it is one of the primary reasons a customer will keep coming back. Conor was very familiar with the menu, was able to describe in detail the dishes and the flavors of the dishes and was just the right level of attentiveness. I also loved that the head chef was in the restaurant delivering meals to the table and doing the rounds checking on all the tables. Kudos to him! The restaurant is situated on the corner of a building and is slightly elevated with glass windows across the front of the building, so quite nice views of the mountains. The restaurant is a combination of booths, banquettes and tables, all appropriately spaced such that you still get an intimate experience, you're not sitting on your neighbor and listening to their conversations. Decor is a fun mix of mid-century modern and maybe like industrial. But it works. Most importantly, the food! We did the 7 course tasting menu and what I loved most was that the food was obviously elevated, but still approachable. I've done some tasting menus at other restaurants and the food is so fru fru, it's just not enjoyable....this was not the case at Table X. I would say that 3 of the 7 dishes were very good and the remaining 4 were exceptional. The charred cauliflower, the bucatini, the beef and the meyer lemon curd were the highlights for me, with the lemon curd taking the top prize. I enjoyed the depth of flavors across the meals with the individual components of each dish coming together perfectly. I can see why my friends cone here for special occasions and bring their out of town visitors here. I hope to come back again some time.

We are foodies at heart and couldn't wait to try this restaurant while visiting Salt Lake over the holidays. Unfortunately we were completely underwhelmed with the food and pleasantly surprised with the cocktails (the best part of the "meal"). We opted for the 7 course meal. Here's my take on all the dishes: - Amuse bouche: a little unbalanced - House sourdough + cultured butter: delicious; super fresh - Mushroom & rice soup: probably the best dish of the bunch; more balance and the sunchokes were a nice touch - Baja striped bass: totally overcooked and very salty - House made Campanelle pasta: I wanted to really like this but it was too dry for my liking - Leg of lamb: honestly was expecting more; also it was overcooked - Rice pudding: this was just OK; not a lot flavor - Pecan tart - super sweet but was better than the above Drinks: - old fashioned: totally spirit forward and a great balance - a chai cocktail: ordered with dessert and it was a nice finisher If they offered just a bar setting for drinks we'd be back; but unfortunately it was a total miss for us.

Service was great. Ambiance was good. Bread was exquisite. The rest of the 7 courses were extremely underwhelming, especially for the price point and hype. Lacking flavor, but maybe my palate is just unrefined(?) My partner and I were very disappointed with the food. Afterwards we drove to Moochie's sandwich shop and had a chicken Philly which was amazing.
