"A suburban pub dating to the 1800s with roomy accommodations (28 rooms slated for a major refurbishment) located about a 10-minute walk from the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club. Rooms feature traditional comforts such as four-poster beds, plaid carpet, and roll-top double bathtubs, plus sunlit reading nooks with views over Wimbledon Village. Dogs are welcome and provided their own bed and kibble bowl; breakfast is extra but includes hearty options like Cajun beans on toast with smoked back bacon." - Sara Lieberman
