"While many of Whistler’s best hotels are chateau-style giants, bigger is not always better: this gem-of-a-hotel, located at the base of Whistler Blackcomb, has just 49 suites. The emphasis is on comfort: all suites have kitchens, fireplaces, bathrooms with heated slate floors, and some have private hot tubs (all guests have exclusive use of the rooftop hot tub). The hotel even offers a variety of pillows and toppers, to ensure guests have a perfect night’s sleep. There are three on-site restaurants: Black’s Pub is the place for an apres-ski burger and beer, tostadas and margaritas are on offer at the Mexican Corner, with sushi and sake in abundance at Sushi Village.
