"There’s nothing that makes a beachside break more authentic than watching boats coming and going, and people fishing on a jetty. You can either dress up in linens or come straight from the beach—brush the sand off first—but just be sure to book a table on the deck if you want to make sure you get a primo position. Best for lunch, although The Rocks Mornington is also open for simple breakfast, as well as dinner—just get there in time for the sunset.
